LoupeKit is a project based in Australia. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and what you can do about it. Questions? Email [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
- Your answers to the optional survey after you join, such as which tool you built your app with and what worries you about launching.
- Basic technical details, like your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider records to keep the site running and secure.
- If you arrive from one of our Google ads, details about that visit. See Advertising.
We don't ask for your name or payment details.
How we use it
- To invite you to the early trial and send occasional updates about LoupeKit.
- To decide what to build, using survey answers.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To see which of our ads lead people to join the waitlist.
We don't sell your information or share your email address with advertisers.
Advertising
We advertise LoupeKit with Google Ads. When you visit from an ad, Google may set cookies to record that visit and whether you joined the waitlist, so we can tell which ads work. Google handles this under its own policy: how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can turn off personalised ads in My Ad Center.
Where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent before these cookies are set.
Who handles your information
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website, stores the waitlist and survey answers, and checks signups for spam.
- Our email provider, which stores your email address and some survey answers, and sends our emails.
- Google, for advertising.
These providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that commit to protecting personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address and survey answers until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or if LoupeKit shuts down as a business.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing [email protected].
We'll reply within 30 days, wherever you live. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
If you're in the UK
UK data protection law also applies. We rely on your consent to email you and, where required, to set advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can withdraw consent or object to how we use your information at any time, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email everyone on the waitlist.
